What happens if the owner wants to cancel a booking that's already been paid?

If the owner wants to cancel an already paid booking, this must be notified to the renter as soon as possible, but no later than 2 days before the initial start date of the booking. A full sum must be paid back (including all additions) to the renter. For all details, please refer to Article "Cancellation" in the rental agreement.

If the owner wants to (partially) refund the renter as a friendly gesture, the booking can stay as it is (the owner will thus receive the his or her earnings at the end of the rental period). The amount that owner and renter agree to be refunded to the renter can be settled outside of the Gearbooker platform.
